About the role
What this job actually is
This role lives at the edge between engineering and the client's real world. You embed with a client, sometimes on site, learn how their business actually runs, and build the systems that remove their biggest bottleneck. It is the fastest feedback loop we have, and the role that shapes what we build for everyone else.
What you will do
- Embed with client teams to map how work really flows, not how the org chart says it does
- Scope and build integrations, automations and tools inside client environments
- Adapt our systems to messy real-world constraints, legacy software included
- Feed what you learn back into how we build for every client
- Travel occasionally when being in the room is the fastest path to the answer
What we look for
- Strong generalist engineering skills, you are useful in an unfamiliar stack within days
- You genuinely like talking to the people who will use what you build
- Calm under ambiguity, client environments are never clean
- You can push back on a client respectfully when they are asking for the wrong thing
- Comfortable with occasional travel
