About the role
What this job actually is
This is the most independent role we offer. You run the sales process from one end to the other. You prospect and find the accounts yourself, figure out who to talk to, open the conversation and carry it forward. Nobody hands you a list or a script. You decide who is worth going after and why, and you own what happens next. We don't care about experience. If you can find the right people and get them to take us seriously, the rest is learnable.
What you will do
- Prospect and find accounts worth going after, from a blank page
- Research companies and work out where we can actually help them
- Open and run conversations with the people who make the decision
- Own the full cycle, from first outreach to a real conversation with the founder
- Keep track of what is working and change your approach when it isn't
What we look for
- No experience required, and we mean it. Students and self-taught people welcome
- You are comfortable starting from nothing and finding your own way in
- You write clearly and can get a busy stranger to write back
- You are self-directed, this is the most independent role we have
- Genuine curiosity about businesses and what makes them buy
The offer
- A three month trial to start, then a full time offer if you do well
- Salary £45,000 to £55,000
